An Outdoor Learning Space was developed through teamworking in each stage by CCI staff, volunteers and pupils of the school.“The pupils of Braehead Primary had a fantastic experience working with CCI last year developing a wonderful new school garden area. They were all involved in the planning stage and then they all learned a wide range of new skills which allowed them to do tasks they had never done before including building fences, wooden raised beds and even a plastic bootle greenhouse! It was a amazing experience for all our pupils and they all thoroughlly enjoyed it.” Jenny Brebner, Headteacher, Braehead PS
Such collaborative working has resulted in a lasting resource for the school including a greenhouse built from 1178 plastic bottles which the children collected.
