Braehead Primary School

“The pupils of Braehead Primary had a fantastic experience working with CCI last year developing a wonderful new school garden area. They were all involved in the planning stage and then they all learned a wide range of new skills which allowed them to do tasks they had never done before including building fences, wooden raised beds and even a plastic bootle greenhouse! It was a amazing experience for all our pupils and they all thoroughlly enjoyed it.” Jenny Brebner, Headteacher, Braehead PS

An Outdoor Learning Space was developed through teamworking in each stage by CCI staff, volunteers and pupils of the school.

Such collaborative working has resulted in a lasting resource for the school including a greenhouse built from 1178 plastic bottles which the children collected.
